Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be Indian citizens or belong to other eligible categories as per Government of India guidelines, including subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who migrated to India before 1 January 1962, or persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement. Candidates from the latter categories must possess a Government of India eligibility certificate.

Selection Process
The selection methodology for Union Bank of India's Recruitment Project 2026–27 is expected to comprise the following stages:
- Online Written Examination: A computer-based test assessing domain knowledge, reasoning, and professional aptitude relevant to the applied post. The exact exam date has not yet been announced in the notification.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the online examination will be called for a structured interview to evaluate their domain expertise, communication skills, and suitability for the respective role. Interview dates are yet to be notified.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the interview will be required to submit original documents for verification of educational qualifications, certifications, experience, category certificates, and identity proof.
- Medical Examination: Final selection will be subject to the candidate's fitness as per the Bank's medical standards.
