Vacancy Details

A total of 20 positions are available under the Specialist Cadre, all designated at the Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II). The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements as of August 01, 2026:

Nationality:

Applicants must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specific countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (subject to an eligibility certificate).

Age Limit:

The age for both Manager-AI/ML Engineer and Manager-Cyber Security positions should be between 25 and 35 years as of August 01, 2026. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST): 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) (OBC-NCL): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen / Commissioned Officers (with minimum 5 years military service): 5 years

Educational Qualification & Experience:

All educational qualifications must be from a Government-recognized University/Institution/Board, with final results declared on or before August 01, 2026.

For Manager-AI/ML Engineer (MMGS-II):

  • Education: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/AI & ML/Data Science with at least 50% marks, OR MCA, OR M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science/Information Technology/AI & ML/Data Science with at least 50% marks.
  • Preferred: Certification in AI, Gen AI, NLP, or ML.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in developing and implementing AI, Gen AI, NLP, or Content Analysis-based projects.

For Manager-Cyber Security (MMGS-II):

  • Education: Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics/Electronics & Communications Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, OR MCA, OR M.Tech/M.Sc in the aforementioned disciplines with at least 50% marks.
  • Preferred: An advanced degree in Cyber Security or IT.
  • Mandatory Certification: Must hold one or more valid certifications from a prescribed list (e.g., OSCP, OSCE³, OSWE, OSEP, GIAC GPEN/GXPN, CAISP, Offensive AI (SANS), or GenAI and LLM Security (SANS)).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification hands-on experience in offensive cyber security, including Red Team operations, AI Red Team operations on Generative AI/Frontier AI models, penetration testing, or advanced vulnerability assessment.

Selection Process
