These positions are offered on a Project Based Contract Staff (PBCS) basis. The first project focuses on the Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, while the second pertains to vaccine and ear tag procurement under the Livestock Health Division of the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying. While positions are primarily based in Delhi/New Delhi, candidates may be deployed anywhere in India depending on project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualifications and experience requirements vary by position. Candidates must carefully review the specifications for their target role:

Project Manager: MBA, PGDM, or equivalent qualification with 10–15 years of professional experience in the agriculture sector.

Project Consultant: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Agriculture or equivalent with 6–10 years of experience in agriculture or allied sectors.

Procurement Expert: MBA in Finance or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years in government procurement. Practical experience with GeM portal, CPP portal, tender document preparation, bid evaluation, work order issuance, and contract administration is essential.

Finance & Accounts Expert: CA, ICWA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent with minimum 5 years in government procurement and contract management. Expertise in invoice verification, bill processing, government accounting procedures, and payment recommendations is required.

Senior Consultant: MBA, PGDM, or equivalent from a recognised institution with minimum 5 years in project management or logistics operations. Agricultural sector experience is preferred, along with IT applications proficiency and government scheme monitoring background.

Junior Consultant: MBA, PGDM, or equivalent from a recognised institution with minimum 2 years of experience. Government PMU experience, IT applications knowledge, and agricultural or logistics management background are preferred.

Salary and Remuneration

NABCONS will provide a consolidated professional fee to selected candidates. The compensation will be determined based on individual experience, educational qualifications, suitability for the role, and last drawn salary. Exact salary figures are not disclosed in the notification. Applicable income tax will be deducted at source under relevant Income Tax Act provisions.

Contract Duration

For the Pulses Mission PMU positions, the initial contract period is 11 months with potential extension based on project performance and requirements. For Livestock Health Division PMU positions, the contract extends until 15 June 2027, subject to similar extension or project co-terminus conditions. NABCONS retains the authority to terminate contracts with three months' notice during the contract period.

Selection Process
