Additionally, 12 vacancies are reserved on a horizontal basis for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), including positions for hearing-impaired, orthopedically challenged, visually impaired, and intellectually disabled candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility assessment is conducted as on 01 August 2026 for all applicants. Candidates must hold Indian citizenship or meet specific categories including subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees arriving before January 1962, or persons of Indian origin from designated countries with permanent settlement intent (requiring appropriate government certification).

Educational Requirements: Generalist Officer positions require a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Specialist roles demand subject-specific qualifications, including B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology, M.E./M.Tech in Cybersecurity, MCA, or equivalent credentials depending on the position.

Work Experience: Candidates must demonstrate relevant post-qualification professional experience. Branch Management roles require minimum 3 years as a banking officer with at least 2 years in branch operations. Information Technology positions mandate 5 years of IT sector experience, with at least 3 years in banking/BFSI and demonstrated expertise in specified technology domains. Information Security, Cyber Security, and specialized roles typically require 2–5 years of focused professional experience in their respective domains.

Age Limits: Branch Management roles accept candidates aged 23–33 years. IT and specialized positions range from 22–40 years depending on the specific post. All age calculations are based on the date 01 August 2026.

Selection Process

The recruitment follows a two-stage merit-based selection methodology. Candidates first compete in a computer-based Online Examination, which tests their professional knowledge, aptitude, and banking sector awareness. Shortlisted candidates are subsequently called for personal interviews conducted by the bank's evaluation panel.

The final merit ranking is determined using a weighted scoring system: the Online Examination accounts for 80% of the total score, while the Interview contribution represents 20%. This weightage ensures comprehensive evaluation of both technical competency and interpersonal effectiveness.

Compensation Structure

Remuneration is structured according to three distinct pay bands:

  • JMGS Scale I (Assistant Manager): ₹48,480–85,290 per month
  • MMGS Scale II (Manager): ₹64,820–93,960 per month
  • MMGS Scale III (Senior Manager): ₹85,920–1,05,280 per month

Additional benefits including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, conveyance, medical coverage, and performance-linked incentives apply as per RBI guidelines and the bank's compensation policy.
