Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for the Customer Service Associate / Clerk positions under IBPS CRP CSA-XVI must fulfill the following eligibility requirements as of August 01, 2026:

  • Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, essential computer literacy and proficiency in the local language of the state from which they apply are mandatory.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age. Age relaxation provisions will be applicable for reserved categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) as per the existing government guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection methodology for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 involves multiple stages to assess candidates comprehensively:

  1. Online Preliminary Examination: The initial screening test to shortlist candidates.
  2. Online Main Examination: Candidates who successfully clear the preliminary examination will be eligible for the main examination.
  3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): An assessment of the candidate's proficiency in the designated local language of the state they have applied for.
  4. Document Verification: Verification of all original certificates and testimonials to confirm eligibility.
