Overview

Canara Bank Securities Limited (CBSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canara Bank and a member of BSE and NSE, is inviting applications for multiple positions across operations, compliance, and risk management functions. This is a general recruitment drive combined with a special backlog recruitment initiative. The organisation is seeking talented professionals to join its Mumbai and Bengaluru offices on a contract basis.

  • CS & Compliance Officer, Mumbai: 1 vacancy
  • Assistant Manager/Officer/Junior Officer – DP Back Office Operations, Bengaluru: 2 vacancies
  • Assistant Manager/Officer/Junior Officer – Risk Management, Mumbai: 2 vacancies
  • Assistant Manager/Officer/Junior Officer – Compliance, Mumbai: 1 vacancy
  • Assistant Manager/Officer/Junior Officer – Institutional Dealer, Mumbai: 1 vacancy
  • Assistant Manager/Officer/Junior Officer – Research Department, Mumbai & Bengaluru: 2 vacancies

Reservations: Positions are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories as per government guidelines. Specific category-wise breakup is provided in the official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Any graduate degree is required. All candidates must demonstrate computer proficiency. Specific educational qualifications and work experience requirements for individual positions are detailed in the full advertisement and application form available on the official website. Candidates lacking the desired qualifications for their chosen post should refrain from applying.

Age Limit (as on 31 July 2026):

  • General candidates: 20–30 years
  • SC/ST candidates: Relaxation of 5 years (up to 35 years)
  • OBC candidates: Relaxation of 3 years (up to 33 years)
  • Candidates with capital markets or financial services experience: Additional relaxation up to a maximum of 10 years, subject to satisfactory documentation, applicable to all categories

Other Requirements: Applicants must be Indian citizens. The organisation reserves discretion to recruit candidates at varying grades and designations based on qualifications and professional experience.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves no written examination. Selection is conducted through the following stages:

  • Shortlisting: The organisation will evaluate candidates based on academic performance, professional experience, and overall suitability. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the next stage.
  • Interview: Selected candidates will be interviewed at a date, time, and location communicated via email. Candidates must arrange and bear their own travel costs.
  • Final Selection: Candidates are ranked based on interview performance. Selection is subject to medical fitness as per organisational standards.
  • Travel Assistance: Outstation SC/ST candidates called for interviews will receive reimbursement of 2nd Class railway fare (or actual expenses, whichever is lower) for the shortest route, upon submission of travel proof.

Posting & Service Terms

Selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai or Bengaluru. A probation period of 12 months of active service applies to AVP and Assistant Manager/Officer positions, as per company HR policies. These are contract-based positions and do not represent permanent employment with Canara Bank.
