Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the FLC Counsellor position must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those holding a postgraduate degree in subjects such as Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 64 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of experience is mandatory. This experience should be in any nationalized bank, Regional Rural Bank (RRB), private bank, or as a Business Correspondent/BC Coordinator. Alternatively, ex-RSETI Directors with at least three years of experience, RSETI Faculty with five years of experience, or individuals with five years of experience in banking, NBFCs, or other related financial fields are also eligible.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Candidates should be proficient in the local language, possess good teaching skills, and have computer knowledge. Sound understanding of banking, insurance, investment, pension, law, and finance is also essential, along with strong communication and team-building abilities.
